Vince was the head of litigation of an established law firm in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. There, he established a dispute resolution practice in general litigation and in contested banking litigation. Today, Vince has a robust trust and inheritance practice with experience in contested trust, probate and administration, constructive and resulting trusts, fiduciary duties, trustee responsibilities and obligations, private trust disputes, validity of wills, suitability of executors / administrators, beneficiary tussles and cross-border inheritance disputes. He has been called upon to act as counsel for some of the country’s major trust corporations.

Vince also has experience in corporate commercial disputes, shareholder and boardroom disputes, strata management matters, debt recovery, real estate disputes and fraud matters.

Outside of the courtroom, Vince has advised clients on private trusts, foundations, trust deeds, master deeds, succession planning, will-writing and administration of estates. Vince also provides corporate advisory, contract advisory and pre-emptive dispute strategy.

Vince served as a Committee Member of the Kuala Lumpur State Bar Committee for the term 2013/2014 and chaired the Kuala Lumpur Pupils Welfare Committee; a Sub-Committee under the Kuala Lumpur State Bar. Prior to that, Vince has served as the Deputy Chairperson of the National Young Lawyers’ Committee of the Bar Council of Malaysia for 2 terms.

He served on the Management Committee of the Victoria Institution Old Boys’ Association (VIOBA) for the term 2019/2021. Prior to that Vince served 2 terms as the Honorary Secretary of VIOBA and sat as a Board Member of The V.I.O.B.A Foundation. He has also served in the Management Corporation of a mature stratified community.

Vince was a Mentor of the Manchester Metropolitan University’s Bar Training Course Mentoring Scheme.

In his free time, Vince is a foodie constantly looking for the next good meal and is an unapologetic geek waiting for his 2 little girls to be old enough to watch movie marathons with him.
